Si l'histoire est écrite par les vainqueurs, pourquoi n'y a-t-il pas de récit du naufrage du Titanic depuis le point de vue de l'iceberg, comme l'appelait de ses vœux Jean Baudrillard dans L'échange impossible ? À partir du récent naufrage du Costa Concordia, remake parodique cent après celui du Titanic, InChino prend le parti de produire une instabilité dans le point de vue qui commence par son renversement. La perspective de l'événement, habituellement anthropocentrée, se liquéfie. Cette fois, le drame humain est réduit à un vulgaire aléa dans la vaste vie océanique.
Le terme inchino, révérence en italien, désigne une manœuvre de parade effectuée par les paquebots de plaisance qui consiste à longer les côtes tous feux allumés. Elle témoigne de l'inversion qui s'opère dans le film entre sujet et objet. Si l'iceberg de 1912 était dangereux parce qu'à la dérive, les rives de l'île du Giglio sont ici parfaitement immobiles, c'est le capitaine qui projette littéralement son navire dessus et précipite ainsi la catastrophe tragi-comique.

If history is made by the winners, how can it be that there is no account of the Titanic wreck according to the iceberg ? Drawing from the recent Costa Concordia wreck, a parodical remake that occured one hundred years later, InChino intends to shift the viewpoint, starting by reversing it. The usual anthropocentric perspective is turned fluid. This time, human drama is shrinked to a mere hitch in the huge oceanic lifespan.
Inchino, meaning bow in italian, designates a parade maneuver consisting in cruise liners showing off as close to the shore as possible. It is significant of how the subject/object relationship is reversed in the film. If the 1912 iceberg was hazardous because it was drifting away, whereas the Giglio Island's shoreline is perfectly stable and it is the captain who delibarately throws his ship against it thus triggering the tragicomic disaster.
